Today we updated Scripture & Theology to the latest version of WordPress, the engine that powers this site... While we’re at it, we’d like to bring attention to our standing “call for posts.” A few have responded, but we would love to see a number of new submissions.
We may not all be peers, but in terms of access we stand virtually on the same level.
We are witnessing the emergence and proliferation of terms associated with ‘theological reading of Scripture.’ This happens against the backdrop of a certain loss of confidence in the direction of historical-critical methods and their distinction over against theology as a discipline—precisely as the term ‘systematic theology’ also suffers a loss of clarity and purpose.
