About: Jason Goroncy

» Jason Goroncy is an ordained minister with the Baptist Union of Victoria and an accredited Minister of Word and Sacrament with the Uniting Church of Australia. He is married to Judy, and they have one daughter - Sinead. Jason supports one football team (Chelsea), but loves many books, whiskeys and fishing spots. He is also in the current of writing a PhD on the theology of PT Forsyth at St Mary’s College, the University of St Andrews. Jason runs two public blogs, Per Crucem ad Lucem and Paternal Life, and contributes regularly to a number of others.

On Bauckham’s criticism of Moltmann’s exegetical method

One does not need to hold a remotely traditional position on the role of scripture in theology to find the spectre of conceptual chaos looming over Moltmann's formulations on this point. He has left himself with much to do in a future volume on norms and method in theology.
